Another drawing that I worked on this week.
I tried to apply many different shapes and lines on portrait photography.
I am in Rachel’s group and we are making mixed media by combining portrait photos
and hand-drawn patterns together.
As an illustrator, the major task is creating movement of the human structure by
adding shapes/lines/patterns/etc.
Here are two sketches that I did for getting some idea.

Proposal for Project Ron Saks
Project Concept is To communicate through the design of
movement (motion and gesture) using simple forms in a
short animated movie (30 seconds or so in length). To work
with time-based design factors in developing a beginning,
middle, and end to your message. To work in collaboration
with team members through a multi-stepped process.
I need to have at least 4 people in this group.
1-2 Animator/illustrator
1 Sound designer
1 editor
Week 1: Research & Brainstorming. We are going to select and define our movement and message concept (idea).
Week 2: Design abstract/simple elements as characters & props. Plan and set up a “frames” document in Photoshop or Illustrator. Create storyboard
Week 3: Make sample movie and see how it works.
Week 4: Finish our work and get ready to present.

I drew the houses where people in the city live. these houses look plain and fragile because when people living in this town built the house using all the wreckage and harden with mud.

this is the edge of the city which is also called “the shore”. the reason why this this area called “shore” is because many flying ships go through this region.

this is the scenery of the plaza. when you see this illustration you can see the architectures that are made of scrap metals and scavenged stuffs. lots of people are walking in and out the gate.
